GRT GROUP SA acquires 35% of PROIL SA

December 2016

Together with its long-term Italian technological partner SRS Srl, GRT GROUP SA has formed a company which owns the plastic-to-fuel technology developed by SRS. SRS Srl owns 65% of PROIL SA. GRT GROUP SA has the option to acquire up to 51%.



The new-born company PROIL SA is proprietary at 100% of the developed plastic-to-fuel technology that has already been proven in the pilot plant located in Palmi (South Italy). This technology is one of the most advanced for plastic depolymerization and an industrial-size project is currently under construction on the same site.

New Project Manager for hydrogen projects

We have welcomed in our team Dr. Nordahl Autissier, in charge of the development of projects involving hydrogen production from formic acid and energy storage.



Dr. Nordahl Autissier holds a PhD with specialization in Fuel Cells. He has long-term experience in system design and energy integration. He was formerly project manager for diverse structural and mechanical equipment developments and manufacturing for space scientific missions.
